What is network ?
Network is a number of clients connected to each other. Clients usually connect to network in order to gain data or sharing of resources.
ie.internet
Wireless and wired network works on same principle.
Only access pointer has access to resources ie. Internet as shown in above figure.
Data between client and access point are packets. In wifi networks this packets are transmitted in air. If you are connected to same network then you can capture any requests by client.
Eg.Client is connected to your home network then open browser and type Google then what happen is client sends request to the access point asking for connection to Google and the access point has access to resources ie. Internet . Access point receive Google from internet and access point response send to client.
